Scary stories by Riley: The phone call

 Sara walked the empty house in her pink slippers. It was a quiet night, home alone.

After flipping the T.V. channels and deciding it wasn't worth her time she put in a movie. After a little while the phone rang. Not wanting her movie to be interupted she unplugged the phone and went back to her show.

A while later the phone rang again. "Fine, I'll answer it." As Sara walked over to the phone she saw the phone cord hanging there and remembered she had unplugged it..."But..." She was baffled. The phone was still ringing so she went over slowly and picked it up.

"Seven days." A voice said, and then the line was dead. Totally freaked out Sara turned on all the lights down stairs and switched to the funniest movie she could find. After a while her parents came home and she had forgotten about the call.

Exactly one week later, Sara was found dead in her kitchen...the phone in her hand.
